These air fryer stuffed peppers take half the amount of time than traditionally cooked stuffed peppers. The filling is full of protein, veggies and spices.

INGREDIENTS

Cut peppers

Cut the tops off the peppers and scoop out any seeds. Dice the tops of the peppers and set aside to use in the mixture. Place the peppers in the basket of the air fryer and cook for 6 minutes.

Make the filling

Saute the onion for 2-3 minutes then add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. Brown the beef then add the Italian seasoning, salt, diced tomatoes and worcestershire sauce and stir to combine.

Cook the rice

Add the uncooked rice and water and stir. Turn the heat to medium low, cover the pot with the lid and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the rice is tender.

Air fry

Scoop the meat mixture evenly into each pepper and place them back in the air fryer. Air fry at 400°F for 4 minutes then top with shredded cheese and cook for another 4 minutes until melted and bubbly.
