Dice the potatoes into 1/2 inch pieces. Cut them as evenly as possible for even cooking.
Place the potatoes in a large bowl then add the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Toss to coat the potatoes really well in the seasoning.
Transfer the potatoes into the basket and air fry for 20 minutes, tossing to coat 2-3 times. The potatoes should be fork-tender. Broil for 2-3 minutes to crisp the edges.
